The function:

As a Business Analyst & Project Officer, you will play a crucial transversal role within the company, working closely with the Digital & Performance Director to identify opportunities, improve processes, and support ongoing digitalization and operational excellence initiatives. You will act as a key coordination point across departments and be involved in a variety of dynamic projects. Your structured mindset, analytical thinking, and solution-driven approach will help deliver business impact and support strategic goals across the organization.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Identify business needs, gather requirements, and recommend solutions (e.g. new tooling or process changes) that deliver value
  • Participate in cross-functional process improvement projects to boost productivity and accelerate the company’s digitalization journey
  • Collaborate across departments to optimize workflows
  • Contribute to the development of dashboards, and performance tracking tools (Power BI) to enable data-driven decisions
  • Document key processes, prepare internal guidelines, and support knowledge sharing across the organization
  • Perform ad hoc data analysis (e.g. market trends, margin development, operational performance) to support decision-making across the organization
  • Execution of recurring tasks (e.g. device inventory, user management), ensuring project continuity and operational support
  • Tasks may vary depending on business needs and project priorities

What we require:

  • Previous experience in the air freight industry will be highly valued
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with a data-driven mindset
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree or HBO-equivalent level
  • You can speak English fluently
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders, getting them on board
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and basic Power BI
  • Familiarity with SQL, APIs, or basic programming is a plus, but not required
  • A valid EU work permit is a must
  • A security check will be part of the application process

You will be part of an enthusiastic and diverse team of over 20 colleagues from various countries (including the Netherlands, Moldova, Norway, France, Korea, Suriname, Spain, Greece, India and Venezuela). English is the primary language. The team has a startup mentality with an informal atmosphere where collegiality is key. We work closely together and communicate directly. We utilize each individual’s strengths and always support each other in tackling priorities.
